Admission Requirements
Undergraduate Program

  • Original Form 138-A (high school report card) or certified true copy of third grading marks if original card is not available; the applicant must have a grade of at least 80 percent for Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics
  • Two printed copies of 1”x1” black and white ID photographs and one printed copy of 2”x2” of black and white ID photograph.
  • To be admitted, the applicant must pass admission test with minimum scores of 88 in IQ test and 50 in English Proficiency Test. The testing fee is P250 (as of June 2005).
  • Original or certified true copy of birth certificate.
Graduate Programs

  • A grade point average of least 2.0 (85 percent or B) with no failing marks in the undergraduate coursework is needed to be eligible for admission to the Masters program.

    Prospective students who do not satisfy the minimum grade requirement but are able to pass the Admission Test and interview may be enrolled on probation. After earning 12 units of coursework, their performance shall be evaluated by a Committee composed of the Dean, Department Chair, and a Professor representing the academic discipline.

  • Satisfactory performance in the Admission Test (consisting of IQ and English Proficiency exams administered by the University Testing Center) and in the interview conducted by the Dean and/or the Department Chair.
