Bachelor of Science in Chemistry

As the Department’s flagship program, the four-year Bachelor of Science in Chemistry curriculum prepares the student for analytical and research work in industry, academe, government, and other institutions.

Many of our graduates assumed managerial positions in multinational companies or become entrepreneurs. Still others use their degree as a foundation for further studies, often in universities in Japan, Europe, and the United States. To work in industry, the chemist must pass the licensure examination (see review classes) and obtain the title Licensed Chemist. The demand for B.S. Chemistry graduates in Cebu and the surrounding regions remains high.
