"Not all chemists wear lab coats." This is the famous catchphrase of the London-based Royal Society of Chemistry.

This is also true for the graduates of the USC Department of Chemistry. Although many of them work in industry and government as analysts, some become researchers, product developers, and teachers. Still others become successful entrepreneurs by using their expertise in developing new products aimed to further satisfy consumers. Companies like the Philippine Drug Screening Laboratory, R&M Mangoes, HQ Sardines, Paradigm Diversified Resources, and the Universal Solvents, to name a few, are owned and managed by our alumni.
