Bachelor of Philosophy
The Bachelor of Philosophy offers students a philosophy major program anchored on a liberal arts degree. Students in this program are exposed to eastern, western and contemporary philosophers. They are taught to think critically and objectively, to write clearly and effectively, and to develop creative solutions to unique situations. This is accomplished by learning philosophical processes: reasoning, thinking, seeing the big picture, analyzing view points - skills that have universal application. Graduates from this program apply their skills and abilities in professions requiring a high level of analytical thought such as law, ministry, pastors, and public service professions, as well as graduate study in philosophy and theology and related disciplines.
