The Department of Physics has facilities for research and teaching. For research, it has three laboratories designated for Laser Physics, Medical Physics and, Instrumentation. Computer laboratories are provided for computing and numerical analysis, as well as interfacing using IP-Coach and LabVIEW. The undergraduate courses have been updated by introducing new experiments and equipment upgrading.
